DepEd Memorandum No. 040, s. 2024, announces the call for applications for the 2025 National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Gallery and Exhibition Program. Filipino artists or groups are invited to submit exhibition proposals by August 31, 2024, for a chance to showcase their work in 2025. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025 NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS GALLERY AND EXHIBITION PROGRAM

1. Pursuant to its mandate to extend recognition and promote the popularization of artistic achievements, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is opening its call for exhibition proposals for the 2025 NCCA Gallery and Exhibition Program from June 30 until August 31, 2024.
2. Every year, the NCCA Gallery opens its Call for Exhibition Proposals to the public. The Call is an opportunity for Filipino artists from different backgrounds, different affiliations, and different regions to be able to showcase their work to a wider audience without compromising their creative vision. All proposals shall be deliberated by the Exhibition Committee, and the chosen exhibitions shall be executed with the support of the NCCA.
3. Exhibition proposals may be submitted by any Filipino citizen or any group or institution based in the Philippines. All exhibition proposals shall be submitted via the Google Forms link and will be accepted only when the following information is submitted with proper supporting documentation:

b. Description of the artworks to be exhibited, the concept of the exhibition (e.g., subject, technique, style, artistic expression, land experimentation), and how the exhibition space/s will be utilized;
c. Statement of the artist/ s about the proposed exhibition; and
d. Artist/ s portfolio inclusive of updated biodata, digital photographs of sample artworks, each properly labeled with details, and any previous write-up about the artist/s. Only up to 15 pages of attachments shall be considered by the Exhibition Committee in their deliberation.
4. The application form may be accessed through https://bit.ly/2025NCCAGalleryProposals. The exhibition proposal may be accomplished in Filipino or English. An email acknowledgment will be sent to the sender's inbox after the submission. If there is no email acknowledgment received, kindly contact the NCCA Gallery Secretariat.
5. Participation of learners and teachers from public and private schools shall be purely voluntary and shall not hamper instructional time in compliance with the provisions of DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 titled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
6. The deadline for submission is August 31, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time). Exhibition proposals received beyond the announced deadline for submission shall not be considered.
