CHANGES IN DEPED MEMORANDUM NO. 009, S. 2023

(Amendment to DepEd Memorandum No. 115, s. 2022 [Reconstitution of the Palarong Pambansa Board and the Palarong Pambansa Secretariat])

1. The Department of Education (DepEd) issued DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 009, s. 2023 titled Amendment to DepEd Memorandum No. 115, s. 2022 (Reconstitution of the Palarong Pambansa Board and the Palarong PambansaSecretariat).

 

2. With the recent appointments of new members of the DepEd Executive Committee, the Palarong Pambansa Board is reconstituted.

 

3. To conform with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10588 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the representation of DepEd to the Palarong Pambansa Board stated in DM 009, s. 2023 is changed as follows:

 

Chairperson    :           Honorable Vice President and DepEd Secretary

Members         :           Undersecretary for Operations

Undersecretary for Finance

Undersecretary for School Infrastructure and Facilities

OIC-Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs

Assistant Secretary for Operations (Field Operations, Private Education Office, Palarong Pambansa Secretariat)

Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching 

Assistant Secretary for Operations (Bureau of Learner Support Services)

 

4. Assistant Secretary Francis Cesar B. Bringas shall remain as Palarong Pambansa Secretary-General pursuant to Office Order (00) No. OO-OSEC-2022-060 titled Designation of DepEd Representatives to Inter-Agency Bodies, Boards, Councils, and Committees

5. All other provisions stated in DM 009, s. 2023 shall remain in effect.

 

6. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
