DESIGNATION OF THE MEMBERS OF VARIOUS MANAGEMENT WORKING COMMITTEES AND OFFICIATING OFFICIALS IN THE 2023 PALARONG PAMBANSA

1. The Department of Education (DepEd) announced through DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 035, s. 2023, the 2023 Palarong Pambansa General Information, and the Technical Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines of Sports.

 

2. In addition to this, the 2023 Palarong Pambansa Organizational Structure-containing the list of members of the Palarong Pambansa Board, National Executive Committee, Steering Committee, and various technical working committees under the Management Working Committees (MWCs) are provided in Enclosure No. 1, while the list of Technical Officiating Officials of the different sports events is listed in Enclosure No. 2.

 

3. The members of the MWCs and the technical officiating officials identified in the enclosure of this Memorandum shall register on July 28, 2023, at Sta. Elena High School in Marikina City. The required documents stated in Item No. 6 of DM 035, s. 2023 shall be submitted upon registration.

 

4. All selected technical officiating officials are required to attend the opening and closing programs of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa and the Refresher Course. The Technical Management and Administration Committee shall replace those officiating officials who fail to register and attend the Refresher Course, following the criteria set forth in the selection of officiating officials.

 

5. DepEd personnel who will serve in the 2023 Palarong Pambansa as accredited technical officiating officials or members of the various national and regional working committees shall be granted vacation leave credits pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 titled Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers.

 

6. As a reiteration, all members of the MWCs and the technical officiating officials shall observe the No Alcohol, No Smoking, and No Gambling Policy of this Department for the duration of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa. Violators shall be dealt with accordingly.
