NATIONAL CONVENTION

1. The Philippine Association of Schools Superintendents (PASS) Inc. will conduct its National Convention with the theme, Education: Reboot and Reimagined, on June 1-3, 2022 at the Baguio Teachers Camp, Baguio City.
2. The convention aims to
a. strengthen the leadership competence and level up the managerial dynamics of the schools division superintendents (SDSs) and assistant schools division superintendents (ASDSs) in leading the schools' division offices (SDOs) in a VUCA world;
b. equip the SDSs and ASDSs with the necessary skills and competence in responding to the challenges of the ever-changing educational milieu; and
c. gather them and rekindle their passion for the service and instituting educational reforms in their respective workstations.
3. The target participants in this live-out convention are the schools division superintendents and assistant schools division superintendents whether in full-fledged or with OIC-designation status. Attendance of participants shall be on official business
.
4. PASS Officers, Program Management Team, and members of the working committees shall be allowed to travel two days before and after the convention.
5. A registration fee of Six Thousand Pesos (P6,000) shall be charged to each participant to cover expenses for the venue rental, meals, honoraria of speakers, and other related expenses, chargeable to local funds and/ or Special Education Fund (SEF), subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. The participants are highly encouraged to undertake early online registration to facilitate the preparation of a simple token and PASS Official ID. The deadline for registration shall be until Monday, May 23, 2022, with thefollowing details:

7. Participants are advised to observe the minimum health and safety protocols and shall strictly observe the Department of Health (DOH) Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease, and DepEd guidelines governing such. Likewise participants are advised to register for their Safe, Swift ,and Smart Passage (S-PASS)and Baguio Visitor Information & Travel Assistance (BAGUIO VISITA), with the following website link: visita.baguio.gov.ph as part of the travel requirements bound to Baguio City.
8. For accommodation requirements at the Baguio Teachers Camp (BTC) each participant should ag his/her BAGUIO VISITA application by selecting the BTC as the DOT-authorized accommodation.
