AMENDMENT TO DEPED MEMORANDUM NO. 090, s. 2022 (Reconstituting the National Search Committee for Third-Level Positions) AS AMENDED BY DEPED MEMORANDUM NO. 048, s. 2024

1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 090, s. 2022 or Reconstituting the National Search Committee for Third-Level Positions, the National Search Committee (NSC) shall evaluate candidates and/or applicants for third-level positions in the Department of Education (DepEd), such as bureau and service directors, regional directors, assistant regional directors, schools division superintendents, and assistant schools division superintendents. Further, the NSC-Screening Committee (NSC-SC) was reconstituted under DM 048, s. 2024.

 

2. In this regard, Atty. Hana Kamille A. Escueta, Director IV, Legislative Liaison Office, is assigned as one of the members of the NSC-SC, replacing Atty. Revsee A. Escobedo, effective immediately.

 

3. Item 4 of DM 048, s. 2024 is amended to read as follows: 

 

The composition of the NSC Screening Committee is reconstituted as follows:

4. This Memorandum partially amends DM 048, s. 2024, particularly item 4 thereof. All other provisions stated therein that are not consistent with this Memorandum shall remain in effect. Additionally, other related issuances, rules, regulations, and provisions that are inconsistent with this Memorandum are modified, amended, or repealed accordingly.

6. This shall take effect immediately and shall remain effective until rescinded or revised.
