Announcement of the Qualifiers in the 2023 Educational Management Test
DepEd Memorandum No. 012, s. 2024 announces the results of the 2023 Educational Management Test (EMT) administered to Schools Division Superintendents (SDSs). A total of 23 out of 962 examinees passed the examination, with situational questions based on the functions and duties outlined in Republic Act No. 9155. The passing grade for this test has been revised to 60%, compared to the previous 65%, as per DepEd Memorandum No. 131, s. 2018. The list of qualifiers is enclosed and will be available on the DepEd website, while individual Certificates of Rating (CORs) will be issued through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA). Qualifiers are required to participate in the Superintendents Leadership Program (SLP) conducted by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP). The memorandum emphasizes the finality of the results and provides contact information for inquiries. Immediate dissemination of the memorandum is urged.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE QUALIFIERS IN THE 2023 EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT TEST

1. The Department of Education (DepEd) announces the results of the 2023 Schools Division Superintendents Examination otherwise known as the Educational Management Test (EMT) that was administered at the Nemesio I. Yabut Elementary School, Makati City on August 27, 2023.
2. The functions and duties of the schools division superintendents (SDSs) as stipulated in Republic Act No. 9155 otherwise known as the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, were the basis of the situational questions included in the test. For the 2023 EMT, a new passing grade of 60% is set which constitutes 2.39% of the examinees. This revises the passing grade of 65% as stipulated in DepEd Memorandum No. 131, s. 2018 titled Announcement of the Qualifiers in the 2018 Educational Management Test.
3. A total of 23 out of the 962 examinees passed the examination.
4. Enclosed is the list of the 2023 EMT qualifiers. This will also be available at the DepEd website: www.deped.gov.ph. Individual Certificates of Rating (CORs) of all examinees will be issued through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA).
5. All 2023 EMT qualifiers shall participate in the Superintendents Leadership Program (SLP) conducted by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).
6. The Department shall impede any appeal for rechecking of the examination papers and modification of points. The specified results are final.
7. Only with justifiable reason of the requesting party and with the approval of the BEA Director shall a second issuance of the COR be granted.
