1. The Department of Education (DepEd) issued DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 115, s. 2022 entitled Reconstitution of the Palarong Pambansa Board and the Palarong Pambansa Secretariat.
2. With the issuance of DepEd Order No. 1, s. 2023 entitled Revised Designation of the Undersecretaries and Assistant Secretaries to their Strands and Functional Areas of Responsibilities and Revised Signing Authorities as a result of the recently concluded Strand Management Review, the strand representation of DepEd to the Palarong Pambansa Board is modified as follows:
Chairperson : Secretary of the Department of Education
Members : Undersecretary for School Infrastructure and Facilities
Undersecretary for Operations
Undersecretary for Administration
Undersecretary for Finance
Assistant Secretary for Operations (Field Operations, Private Education Office, and Palarong Pambansa Secretariat)
Assistant Secretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs
Assistant Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching – Education Assessment and Alternative Learning System
3. All other provisions in DM No. 115, s. 2022 shall remain in effect.
4. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
